TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By using our website you agree to comply and accept the following terms and conditions. We may update these at any time, so please check this page to ensure you are aware of any changes.

DELIVERY

Standard Uk postage is £4.50 sent using Royal Mail second class. Please allow 4-7 working days for delivery. Some items may require a signature upon delivery.
Orders over £35 have free delivery within the UK. International delivery is calculated at checkout. International orders are sent tracked and may require a signature. Please note that customs charges may be applicable for international orders and are paid by the customer.

All our products are made to order, therefore please allow time for Sarah to make your items. This is usually 3-4 days, but please be aware that during busy periods this may take a little longer.

Sarah Becvar Design shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failures to deliver resulting from any cause beyond our reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub contractors or suppliers, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.

In the event of an order being returned to Sarah Becvar Design as a result of the carrier being unable to deliver we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. You may be liable for any re-delivery charges. If you decide to cancel your order the outward delivery charge will be deducted from any refund.

DETAILS OF GOODS SPECIFIED

Due to the handmade nature of the cards, stitching and fabrics may vary slightly from the images displayed. Where fabrics are out of stock an appropriate alternative will be used but this will not affect the overall look of the design. All cards are 15cm square, FSC 270gsm board with stitching on the front of the card, & come with a recycled kraft envelope & wrapped in tissue paper. Cellophane bags are not used.

Each card is sewn using a freehand embroidery technique on a sewing machine and has a hand written message on the front of the card, written in pencil. Cards are left blank inside for your own personal message.

It is recommended that all embroidered artwork is not placed in direct sunlight.

PERSONALISED CARDS & GREETINGS

Cards and greetings can be personalised. There will be no charge for a change of greeting on the front of the card. A charge of £20 is made for each personalised card that you have commissioned Sarah to design. Sarah will email a sketch of your bespoke design for approval. Please note that there is a limit to the amount of design work involved in creating your bespoke card.

If you’d like to change the greeting on the front of the card to your own personalised greeting, please add a note at checkout with the code of the card and your personal message. Please type the wording exactly as you would like it. We cannot be held responsible for any misspellings that you have typed. Personal greetings will only be applied once payment has been received. All bespoke cards will be paid for before posting.

EMBROIDERED ARTWORK COMMISSIONS

We often have requests for personal, embroidered pictures. These make beautiful keepsakes and a wonderful and unique gift. If you’d like to order an embroidery, please email sarah@sarahbecvardesign.com and we will be happy to discuss your requirements and create a quote for you. All embroideries made to order must be paid for in advance.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made securely via PayPal or credit card.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Each item is made by hand with love and care. If you are unhappy about your purchase please contact us within 24hrs of receipt of the items.  In the event of any product being damaged, we will cover the cost of the postage and either refund or exchange the product for you. You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of your purchased items, and items must be returned in the condition that you received them. A refund or exchange can be given, however we cannot refund the cost of returning the item to us, nor the original postage cost.  Non returnable items are those that have been personalised. The spellings, punctuation, capitalisation etc are solely the customers responsibility and no exchanges or refunds will be offered if you supply us with the incorrect wording or spelling. Cancellations must be made in writing direct to Sarah Becvar Design.
