By using our website you agree to comply and accept the following terms and conditions. We may update these at any time, so please check this page to ensure you are aware of any changes.
Standard Uk delivery £2.50 sent using Royal Mail first class. Please allow 2-4 working days for delivery.
Orders over £20 have free delivery. For international delivery, there is a flat rate of £8.
Retail card orders received before 2pm will be dispatched that day. For orders placed after 2pm, your order will be dispatched the following day. Personalised designs may take a little longer due to the extra design time needed. Please allow for this time when considering your order. Embroidered artworks are made upon request and we will contact you with an estimated dispatch time.
Sarah Becvar Design shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failures to deliver resulting from any cause beyond our reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub contractors or suppliers, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.
In the event of an order being returned to Sarah Becvar Design as a result of the carrier being unable to deliver we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. You may be liable for any re-delivery charges. If you decide to cancel your order the outward delivery charge will be deducted from any refund.
DETAILS OF GOODS SPECIFIED
Due to the handmade nature of the cards, stitching and fabrics may vary slightly from the images displayed. Where fabrics are out of stock an appropriate alternative will be used but this will not affect the overall look of the design. All cards are 14cm square, 270gsm board with stitching on the front of the card, & come with a coordinating coloured envelope & packed in a cellophane bag.
Each card is sewn using a freehand embroidery technique on a sewing machine and has a hand written message on the front of the card, written in pencil. Cards are left blank inside for your own personal message.
It is recommended that all embroidered artwork is not placed in direct sunlight.
PERSONALISED CARDS & GREETINGS
Cards and greetings can be personalised. A small charge of 50p / card is made for personalised greetings on the front of the card. A charge of £15 is made for each personalised card that you have commissioned me to design. Please email us to discuss your design ideas. If you’d like to change the greeting on the front of the card to your own personalised greeting, please email us with the code of the card and your personal message. You will be invoiced separately for the extra charge. Please type the wording exactly as you would like it. We cannot be held responsible for any misspellings that you have typed. Personal greetings will only be applied once payment has been received.
EMBROIDERED ARTWORK COMMISSIONS
We often have requests for personal, embroidered pictures. These make beautiful keepsakes and a wonderful and unique gift. If you’d like to order an embroidery, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to discuss your requirements and give you a quote. All embroideries made to order must be paid for in advance.
Payment can be made securely via PayPal. You can either pay using a debit/credit card or by PayPal account.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Each item is made by hand with love and care. If you are unhappy about your purchase please contact us within 24hrs of receipt of the items. In the event of any product being damaged, we will cover the cost of the postage and either refund or exchange the product for you. You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of your purchased items, and items must be returned in the condition that you received them. A refund or exchange can be given, however we cannot refund the cost of returning the item to us, nor the original postage cost. Non returnable items are those that have been personalised. The spellings, punctuation, capitalisation etc are solely the customers responsibility and no exchanges or refunds will be offered if you supply us with the incorrect wording. Cancellations must be made in writing direct to Sarah Becvar Design. All cards are handmade to order, therefore, any work undertaken before notice of cancellation is received, will be charged for.
